A 62-YEAR-OLD woman who was found dead in a York city-centre hotel has been named by police.
Officers were called to the Judges Lodgings Hotel by ambulance staff at 11.40am on January 28, following reports of the sudden death of a woman.
A police spokesman said: “Sadly the 62-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are satisfied there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death and are preparing a report for HM coroner.”
The woman has been named as Susan Elizabeth Beedle, from Hull. An inquest was opened and adjourned into her death on January 31.
