A BREW celebrating York City’s historic Wembley double is the star of the this year’s Bootham Crescent Beer Festival.
The beer is named after the club’s official Wembley anthem, York City State of Mind, and will be available to sample throughout the festival, which began on Thursday and finishes tomorrow.
Frank Ormston, chairman of festival organisers York Minstermen, said: “This year’s festival coincides with the 80th anniversary of York City moving to Bootham Crescent, so many of the beers will commemorate notable moments in the club’s history.
“York City State of Mind is the first of two beers that our partners at Revolution Brewery have agreed to produce for the festival.”
The festival is running in the Pitchside Bar at Bootham Crescent.
