AN appeal for witnesses has been made by police after a car crash in East Yorkshire.
The collision happened between 2.45pm and 3pm on Friday on the B1230 in Gilberdyke, when a 37-year-old man from Goole was driving a black Audi A3 towards Howden.
Police believe the car was overtaking a double-decker bus when the Audi driver was forced to take evasive action to avoid hitting a black Volkswagen Polo appeared. The Audi hit a gatepost outside the AK Bodyshop.
The driver suffered minor whiplash injuries and was taken to Goole Hospital for treatment. The female driver of the Polo stopped at the scene and details were exchanged, but police are now looking to speak to anybody who saw the crash.
Anybody with information should phone Humberside Police on 0845 6060 222.
