TWO wind turbines could be installed on a pig farm in an East Yorkshire village.
The plans would see a pair of masts 46m high being built at Grove Farm, in Main Street in Melbourne, near Pocklington.
The agents for the scheme, Carter Jonas, said the farm’s owners supplied meat to supermarket chain Sainsbury’s and wanted to reduce their carbon footprint, as well as cutting energy bills.
