STUDENTS from an East Yorkshire school were delighted to be praised for their artwork by a genuine fashion legend.
Eight pupils from Pocklington School had their artwork appraised by Zandra Rhodes at an event launching her new range of handbags in Brown’s department store on Saturday.
Clare Swann, the students’ art teacher, said: “We decided to design some bags for the students’ AS Levels, and brought them all along with some larger pieces to show Zandra. “One of the shoppers wanted to buy some of the bags, and the girls were delighted with the publicity of having their work seen.”
