THE University of York faces sudden death in its next appearance on the BBC quiz show University Challenge.
In last night’s quarter-final, the team of four students were beaten 205 to 120 points by the team from Peterhouse, University of Cambridge. The York team now has to win its next general knowledge duel on the BBC2 programme to stay in the competition.
Teams have to win two quarter-final rounds to go through to the semi-finals.
