Four Thirsk and Sowerby Harriers Club members had their annual trip to the World Masters Fell Championships in the Czech Republic.
The venue was the Black Mountains, about 100 miles north east of Prague.
Christine Burn was 21st F55 finisher in 1 hour, 17 minutes and 11 seconds, David Read 50th M55 in 1-07.24, Rob Burn 21st M60 in 55.28 and Alan Wikeley 33rd M65 in 1-15.28.
In the Roseberry Topping Fell Race, Hester Cox came 45th in 19.26, Carol Morrison 53rd in 21.20 and Alan Wikeley 56th in 22.17.
Alan Harman competed in the difficult Yorkshireman half-marathon over a course which was slippery and boggy in places. He finished 120th out of 246 in 2.32.09.
Ian Codling was the club’s sole representative in the Wetherby 10k, finishing 669th out of 765 runners in 63.28.
He completed his 500th race since he started running about 12 years ago in the Pickering and Moors 10k where he was 87th in 59.53.
