TRANSER-LISTED centre-back John McCombe has left York City after agreeing a severance package for the remainder of his contract.
McCombe, 30, was a member of the Minstermen side that reached the 2013/14 play-off semi-finals but has only made six appearances this season and has not featured at all during Jackie McNamara’s three-month tenure.
His current contract was due to expire at the end of the season.
Meanwhile, forward Emile Sinclair has joined National League outfit Guiseley on a month's loan.
