SCARBOROUGH Athletic have guaranteed themselves a home play-off semi-final in Evo-Stik Division One North.

The Seadogs' 1-0 victory at Colwyn Bay, courtesy of Jacob Hazel's 74th-minute goal, confirmed them in third place and earned them a home tie on Tuesday against fourth-placed Ossett Town.

Pickering Town, confirmed in second place for a while in the Toolstation Northern Counties East League Premier Division, ended their home programme with a 2-1 victory over Athersley Recreation.

Ryan Blott put the Pikes ahead as early as the fourth minute, but Kieran Scargill levelled for the visitors in the 44th minute, only for George Bissett to hit the winner in the 72nd minute.

Harrogate Railway Athletic secured their status with a 1-1 draw at Bottesford Town.

Ben Joyce put Rail ahead in the 72nd minute, Daniel Boulton equalising two minutes later.

In Vanarama National League North, Harrogate Town couldn't end their home campaign on a high as Brackley Town recorded a fourth straight away victory.

The Saints grabbed the advantage five minutes before half-time through James Armson, and extended their lead six minutes after the break when Alex Gudger applied the finishing touch to a corner.

And although Joe Leesley's terrific free-kick gave Town hope of a comeback just before the hour, Brackley held on to their lead.
