YORK City will hold a fans' forum at KitKat Crescent Social Club on Wednesday, August 15.
Manager Billy McEwan and the club's board of directors will be available to answer supporters' questions from 7pm with the bar manned and a raffle organised by York Minstermen. Admission is free.
The club are also currently seeking fans' opinions on the decision to accompany each City goal with a blast from late soul singer James Brown's "I Feel Good" during Saturday's 4-3 friendly home defeat against Doncaster.
City have received positive and negative feedback on the trial initiative and are asking for any further suggestions for matchday music to be directed to northernlightsdisco@yahoo.co.uk by e-mail.
Elsewhere, released Minstermen midfielder Lewis McMahon has signed for Blue Square North side Gainsborough Trinity, while former City full-back Anthony Lloyd is on trial at City's Blue Square Premier Yorkshire rivals, Farsley Celtic.
Oxford United, meanwhile, have continued to be busy in the market, recruiting 19-year-old former Southend United winger Joel Ledgister.
