YORK City will be hoping to leave their rivals marooned in the Blue Square Premier when the new season kicks off a week on Saturday.
That was the message sent out as the club unveiled their new third kit at the Minstermen's annual photo call.
The sky blue and maroon strip will be worn in addition to last season's red home and yellow away kits, and will receive its first outing in Saturday's final pre-season friendly at home to Chesterfield.
It is planned the new kit will then go on sale in the club shop a week later when the new season kicks off against Cambridge United and will also be worn against Burton Albion on August 14.
The cost of the new kit will be £40 for adult shirts and £18 for adults shorts with the respective junior prices £33 and £15. All sizes of socks will be £10.
* Don't miss your chance to win the new kit in our City supplement, free with The Press next Wednesday.
The pull-out will also include a souvenir City team poster.
