RELEASED York City goalkeeper Tom Evans has joined former KitKat Crescent team-mate Leo Fortune-West at Blue Square North outfit Alfreton Town.
Evans made 97 appearances in two seasons with City having been brought to the club from Scunthorpe in the summer of 2006 by Billy McEwan. But he lost his place to loan signings Stephen Henderson and Josh Mimms last season before being released by Colin Walker in April.
Fortune-West scored two goals in 13 matches for City after spending the second half of the season on loan from Cambridge.
