ALL eyes will be off the pitch before kick-off at Bootham Crescent tonight.
City fans group Jorvik Reds are planning a spectacular pre-match display to rev up players and supporters as the two squads come out on the pitch.
The outfit, which have become renowned for their colourful flags and singing, have appealed for all supporters to be on hand to help out and cheer Martin Foyle’s men to victory.
Tommy Outing, of the group, said: “With a big display planned please could all fans be on hand to help out.
“The main stand and popular stand display will be straightforward but, for the occupants of the David Longhurst Stand, if you see any flags, streamers or confetti about, please pass them round and wave or throw them as the players enter the pitch.
“The club has kindly given permission to allow streamers to be thrown.
“Also please try to get into the stand as early as possible to cheer the lads off the pitch after their warm-up before the main event. Let’s make some noise.”
