DEBUTANT Richard Hollingsworth celebrated his switch from Dunnington to Woodhouse Grange in style in division 4A.

Hollingsworth captured 5-21 as Selby were dismissed for 88 at Sutton-on-Derwent.

Teenager Harry Collins gave good bowling support with 4-17 in an innings that saw only one batsman reach double figures – Jamie Wheeler, who made 50.

Paul Grewer then responded with an undefeated 46 as Grange strolled to an eight-wicket win in 18 overs.

John Hyde took 4-14 as Osbaldwick were dismissed for 126 at Hull Zingari. Steve Horner (28) and Peter Machin (33) were the only two Osso players to feature with the bat. After losing two early wickets, Zingari strolled to victory.

Former divisional leaders Driffield III dropped to third after losing by four wickets at Stamford Bridge, whose heroes were Dave Craven (5-29) and Martin Woodliffe (63).

Neil Woodcock made 40, but Craven’s return had Driffield all out for 174 in 43.4 overs. Stamford took one more ball to win, with other valuable runs coming from Ian Fraser (30) and Kieran Wall (48).

Division 4B leaders Acomb had much the worst of a draw with Huby, who moved into second place, ten points behind their opponents.

There was a Huby half-century for Mike Mzerwinski (53) with support from Dave Patmore (34) and Dan Grainger (27) in a total of 212-7.

James Byford took 4-51 for the home side, who then struggled to 110-7 with Matt Williams (34) being the sole success. Tim Little took 3-29 for Huby.

Tony Linsley’s unbeaten 73 in Malton’s 156-7 helped his side to beat Easingwold by 52 runs.

Andrew Ball had 3-39 for Easingwold but then saw his side rolled over for 104 by Shane Bonsor (3-27) and Stuart Whatmore (3-1).

Heworth’s Gary Hall led his side on a run spree at Pickering, where he made an unbeaten 115. With Nadim Siddique hitting 67 and Martin Boothroyd 48, Heworth totalled 277-5.

In the home side’s reply of 180-6, Kev Wilson made 47 and Shaun Smith 25, while Andy Hothenhall had 3-24 for the York side.

At Mille Crux, Rowntrees batsman Richard Tuite hit 112 – his 14th three-figure score – as his side were dismissed for 247 by Dunnington.

The visitors had three successful bowlers in teenager Danny Andrew (3-54), George Wilson (3-73) and Sam Tattersall (3-28).

Dunnington then pulled off a fine eight-wicket win thanks to a maiden hundred by Adrian Sutcliffe (105no).

Dringhouses were six-wicket winners at Sheriff Hutton Bridge. Bridge made 151 all out, with Danny Keirnan hitting 41. Martin Scott (34no) saw ’Houses home.
