JON CHALLINOR has declared his "delight" at agreeing a contract extension with York City.
The former Kettering player, who has been used predominately at right-back since joining the Minstermen, revealed on Twitter that he had agreed to stay at Bootham Crescent.
On Christmas Eve, The Press reported that City boss Gary Mills had offered the non-contract player a deal until the end of the season.
