Leeds United travel to Blackpool on Boxing Day
IN-FORM Leeds United travel to Blackpool on Boxing Day aiming to make up ground on the top four sides in the Sky Bet Championship.
United moved up to fifth place with Saturday’s 0-0 Elland Road draw against Barnsley in front of a 31,031 crowd.
Whites boss Brian McDermott said: “We moved up one place and we move on.
“We tried to win the game, but it just wasn’t meant to be.”
United head a batch of six teams separated by only three points, but McDermott’s men are six points behind fourth-placed Derby County.
