A CLEAN sheet for the first time in 12 games saw Leeds United extend their unbeaten run to six matches – to the delight of manager Simon Grayson.

The Whites gained a 0-0 draw from Saturday’s trip to Reading and they are now sixth in the npower Championship table.

Grayson said: “I’m delighted to get a point here.

“It’s a difficult place to come and get a result.

“I’m also delighted with the clean sheet because we haven’t had too many over the course of the season.

“We’ve been getting there. We didn’t have the attacking side that we’ve shown over the last few weeks but it was a decent 0-0 result.”

Late chances fell to both sides, with Reading’s Michail Antonio striking a post and United’s Jonny Howson being thwarted by Royals keeper Adam Federici in injury time.

Former Leeds full-back Ian Harte had earlier been denied when Kasper Schmeichel kept out his second-half free-kick, while Bradley Johnson headed wide for the visitors.
