RYEDALE darts ace Terry Temple, felled Terry Jenkins en route to the last 16 of the European Darts Trophy in Germany.
The Whitwell-on-the-Hill player beat Mark Walsh 6-4 in round one before ousting Jenkins 6-4 in round two in Sindelfingen, before his run was ended by in-form Belgian Kim Huybrechts in round three.
Temple came from 4-3 down to defeat Walsh in event two of the European Tour tournament before turning in a memorable performance to beat world number 16 Jenkins.
Huybrechts needed a three-dart average of 102.58 to beat Temple 6-3, but he exited 6-4 to Mensur Suljovic in the quarter-finals.
The title went to Wes Newton, who claimed the biggest title of his career with a dramatic 6-5 victory over Paul Nicholson in the final.
