Dunnington are backing squash’s bid to be included in the 2020 Olympic Games by taking part in today’s World Squash Day.
World Squash Day organisers are aiming to set a new world record for the biggest squash match in history and the York club are staging a series of matches between 3.45pm and 6.30pm.
Clubs worldwide are being encouraged to field two teams of 20 players, with rival team members playing one game up to 20 points.
The scores from every club will count towards an overall global result between Team Squash and Team 2020.
More than 40 members of Dunnington Squash Club will take part in this event.
