CITY of York Athletics Club star Richard Buck today qualified for the semi-finals of the 400 metres at the World Indoor Championships in Istanbul.
The 25-year-old was second in his heat in a time of 47.05 seconds to reach the semi-finals, which will be staged tonight at about 6pm.
Buck, who will be joined in the semis by fellow Great Britain runner Nigel Levine, said: "I am taking it one race at a time and I will now focus on the semi-final."
The final will be held on Saturday at 5.30pm.
