THE entire Northern Counties East League programme was wiped out by the winter weather.
The premier division derby between Pickering Town and Selby Town, which was postponed on Friday due to snow, has been rearranged for Saturday, April 23 (3pm).
Scarborough Athletic’s game at Maltby Main has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 16 (3pm), while Tadcaster Albion will try to host Arnold Town on Tuesday, January 25 (7.45pm).
Tomorrow night – weather permitting – Selby Town are due to take on Bottesford Town at Flaxley Road in a League Cup second round tie.
Tadcaster Albion will host Hemsworth Miners Welfare in round two of the President’s Cup, while Scarborough travel to Nostell Miners Welfare in the league.
Overnight snow and frost put paid to Harrogate Town’s home clash with Stafford Rangers in Blue Square Bet North.
Harrogate Railway Athletic’s home game against Skelmersdale was postponed in UniBond League division one north.
Tomorrow, Railway are due to host Farsley in round two of the West Riding County Cup, while Harrogate Town visit Goole in the same competition.
Elsewhere, there were no games played in the York Minster Engineering Football League, or the newitts.com Beckett League in Ryedale.
The weather also caused chaos for organisers of the various York FA cups, which were due to be played on Saturday and yesterday.
All fixtures in the York FA Saturday Senior Cup will now be played on December 18.
The York FA Saturday Junior Cup has been rescheduled for this weekend, although the ties between Bishopthorpe Reserves and White Horse, and Terrington Glory and Amotherby & Swinton, will be delayed until December 11 due to county cup fixtures.
The York FA Sunday Morning Senior and Junior Cup ties have been moved to this coming Sunday, along with the York FA Under-19s Cup.
All the other junior knockout fixtures, except for the U16s clash between Bishopthorpe White Rose and Fulford and the U12s game between Tadcaster Albion and Pocklington, will be played this Sunday.
