MAN of the match Adam Kirby scored a hat-trick of tries as New Earswick All Blacks ARLC trounced Emley Moor 44-4 in the Pennine League championship.
The All Blacks, who remain third in the table, were in control from the start and opened the scoring after eight minutes thanks to winger Jack Law’s unconverted try.
Winger Louis Pool then added a second unconverted score before Kirby bagged his first try and half-back Liam Gargan converted.
Centre Kirby touched down again and Gargan also added the extras before Emley Moor narrowed the gap with an unconverted try.
Gargan’s try gave the visitors a 24-4 half-time lead.

Meanwhile, North Yorkshire has missed out on being a base camp for the 2013 Rugby League World Cup.
Ampleforth College, working with Ryedale District Council in partnership with consortium members Ampleforth Abbey Trading Limited and the North Yorkshire Rugby League Development Group, submitted a joint bid to be one of the hosts of the tournament. The bid was backed by the county’s only professional club, York City Knights.
However, the Rugby Football League yesterday announced its list of venues and bases, and Ampleforth does not feature.
The 14-team tournament will be staged at 18 venues in four countries – England, Wales, Ireland and France. There are a further six host venues and/or base camps.
A total of 34 bids, comprising 30 stadia, 47 team training sites and 87 team base camps, were submitted to the RFL.
