LEEDS Carnegie stars were put through their paces at York’s Clifton Park as the Headingley-based club prepare to take their show on the road this weekend.
The Championship club play division rivals Jersey in the group stages of the British & Irish Cup on Sunday at Shipton Road (ko 3pm) as head coach Diccon Edwards and his young squad begin a new initiative to develop a stronger support base across the county.
The players went through passing and training drills to get used to the York pitch ahead of the vital match.
Edwards said: “It was about familiarising ourselves with the surroundings and just having a brief run-out on the pitch ready for Sunday.”
Tickets are £10 for adults, £5 senior citizens and students, and free for under-16s.
