SUPER striker Jason Walker is fast becoming an internet sensation.
The City forward’s stunning overhead kick against Grimsby Town last Saturday is clocking up the hits on website Youtube.
At the time of writing, the goal, which was the 27-year-old’s 12th goal of the season, had been viewed more than 55,000 times and was also leading the voting in the top ten goals of the week on football website 101greatgoals.com.
Meanwhile, City boss Gary Mills’ insistence that Walker is not for sale has been supported at boardroom level.
Sheffield Wednesday are monitoring the former Barrow forward’s progress, but City chairman Jason McGill told The Press: “We are happy with Jason and we don’t want him going anywhere else.
“He’s massively important to us in what we are trying to achieve.”
