YORK City Knights speedster Jamel Chisholm is to go out on loan to League One rivals London Skolars after finding his opportunities to break into James Ford's in-form side restricted.
Winger Chisholm played two games early in the season but suffered injury and has not been able to break back in since returning to fitness. The arrival on dual-reg of James Clare has pushed him further down the pecking order.
With York's reserves team having been disbanded, he had less chance of game time so will now go to Skolars.
Head coach Ford said: "When we brought Jamel to the club we had high expectations and we still do.
"At the moment, he's fully fit, but there's not an opening for him to play and find match-fitness and form.
"We've looked at the possibility of getting him game time at London Skolars, and it bolsters their ranks to have a fast, class athlete.
"He can play three, four, five games down there, get his match-sharpness and come back to us and bolster our squad."
