STUDENTS from York College have helped York City Knights get set for their big Sky-televised match tomorrow night.
The promoted rugby league team played their first Co-operative Championship match at arch-rivals Hunslet on Sunday, drawing 28-28.
With only four days to recover before tomorrow’s match against Sheffield Eagles at Huntington Stadium, they called in the help of sports therapy students to assist with recuperating massages.
The Knights already has strong links with the college via its rugby league development course.
Head coach Dave Woods said: “It’s a tough sport and a quick turnaround between matches makes it tougher physically, so it’s great the students could come in and help us out.”
