TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT REGULATIONS) 2011 NOTICE UNDER REGULATION 24 OF THE TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING (ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT) REGULATIONS 2011 DUTIES TO INFORM THE PUBLIC AND THE SECRETARY OF STATE OF FINAL DECISION

Application Number: NY/2013/0128/ENV. Proposed development at Kellingley Colliery, Turvers Lane, Knottingley, West Yorkshire, WF11 8DT. The planning application made by Peel Environmental Management (UK) and Kellingley Colliery Waste Limited to North Yorkshire County Council was resolved to be approved on 10 February 2015 at the meeting of the Planning and Regulatory Functions Committee. This application was originally submitted on 5 June 2013 for planning permission for the Relocation of Colliery activities and construction of an Energy Centre to recover energy from waste, with ancillary development including offices and utility uses (e.g. workshops and electrical rooms); parking; a new access point and improvements to the existing access; internal roads; railway sidings; a weighbridge and gatehouse; a substation and transformer compound; a National Grid connection, private wire connection to the Colliery; sustainable urban drainage systems; lighting; CCTV; landscaping and fencing. Members of the public may view the application, the plans, and all other information relating to the decision and the Decision Notice and accompanying legal agreements at Access Selby, 8-10 Market Cross, Selby, YO8 4JS during all reasonable hours.
