Notice of making of a Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map

Notice of making of a Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order Highways Act 1980 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 North Yorkshire County Council Footpath No 35.22/2 Church Fenton Hall, Church Fenton
DIVERSION ORDER 2014

The above Order, made on 3 March 2015, under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, will divert the public footpath described below and modify The Former West Riding of Yorkshire Area 2 Definitive Map and Statement accordingly.
It is proposed to divert footpath no 35.22/2 from its current route at Grid Reference SE 5115 3681 to run west for 12 metres then enter the grounds of Church Fenton Hall via a gate at SE 5114 3681 then passing to the east and north of Church Fenton Hall, for approximately 55 metres to SE5111 3685, then continuing in a north westerly direction for approximately 47 metres to SE5107 3686 where it will re-join the existing footpath route at SE 5107 3686, then continue in a northerly direction to join the highway at Station Road.
A copy of the order as confirmed and the Order Map have been placed and may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Sherburn in Elmet Library, North Yorkshire, LS25 6EA until 17 April 2015. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased from Waste & Countryside Services, North Yorkshire County Council, County Hall, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL7 8AD (tel: 01609 532512) at a cost of £2.00, or can be downloaded free from our website www.northyorks.gov.uk/pathnotices.
Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to Ron Allan, Definitive Map Officer, North Yorkshire County Council, County Hall, Northallerton, North Yorkshire DL7 8AD not later than 17 April 2015. Please state the grounds on which they are made. Please note that objections/representations cannot be treated as confidential and may come into the public domain. Copies of any objections or representations received may be disclosed to interested parties, including the Planning Inspectorate where the case is referred to it for determination.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, North Yorkshire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
