Notice of Confirmation of a Definitive Map Modification Order North Yorkshire County Council Section 53 Wildlife & Countryside Act 1981 The Former West Riding of Yorkshire (Area 3) Definitive Map and Statement Public Footpaths 35.74/16 and 35.74/17 Pinfold Hill to Carr Lane, Wistow, Modification Order 2011

On 10 March 2015, the Secretary of State confirmed the above named Order.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map by adding the following public footpaths. Public footpath 35.74/16 starts at SE 5929 3560 on the maintainable highway known as Pinfold Hill from where the 1.2 metres wide route runs generally south east for approximately 381 metres to SE 5953 3531 at its junction with public footpath 35.74/13.
Public footpath 35.74/17 starts at SE 5953 3531 on
public footpath 35.74/13 from where the 1.2 metres wide route heads south east for approximately 125 metres to SE 5962 3523 from where the route heads north east for approximately 18 metres to SE 5964 3523 from where the route heads generally south east for approximately 335 metres to SE 5980 3495 at its junction with maintainable highway known as Carr Lane.
A copy of the order as confirmed and the Order Map have been placed and may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Selby Library,YO8 4EQ, North Yorkshire until 10 July 2015. Copies of the Order and Map may be purchased there at a reasonable cost. The Order comes into force on 10 March 2015, but if a person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained in it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under Schedule 12 to the Act, within six weeks from 29 May 2015, make an application to the High Court.
