Notice of Application for the Variation of a Premises Licence/Club Premises Certificate Take notice that Troy Management Services (Royal York) Ltd Of Principal Hayley Group Ltd The Inspire Hornbeam Park Harrogate HG2 8PA made application to the City of York Council for the variation of a Premises Licence at the following premises The Royal York Hotel Station Road York YO24 1AA. The Licensing Application Register can be viewed by prior arrangement with City of York Council Licensing Section (Tel: 01904 552512) at Hazel Court, EcoDepot, James Street, York, YO10 3DS between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Representations to this application can be made in writing by a responsible authority or any other person to City of York Council Licensing Services, Hazel Court, EcoDepot, James Street, York, YO10 3DS. Representations must be received by no later than Friday 24th July 2015 being within a 28 day period beginning the first day after the application is made. Summary of Proposed Variation(s)/Conditions To join together the current Restaurant and Lounge area and make the Garden Lounge To Change the current Tempest Bar into the hotel restaurant To combine the Ebor Room and Board room to make the new hotel bar and games room with on street access. To increase the outside decking area in the new restaurant. To use the current reading room as an extra restaurant for hotel guests or private dinning. To increase regulated entertainment ,provision for facilities and late night refreshment licence into new rooms ie Dante Room, Leedman Room, Reading Room, Tile room York room .Games Room Clifford Room. Timings and type of entertainment to remain the same as what currently allowed at the hotel To increase the area of the sale and consumption of alcohol into the new Games Room, new external decking To remove all embedded restrictions that are currently attached to the Premise Licence. To remove the following conditions from Annex 2 namely point 1,3,4,5,6,7, it is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application for the variation of a premises licence or club premises certificate. A person guilty of such an offence is liable to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale.
