NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF A PUBLIC PATH ORDER
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YORK
PUBLIC FOOTPATH, NEW EARSWICK NO. 1 (PART)
DIVERSION ORDER 2015
On 14th July 2015 the Council of the City of York confirmed the above Order made under section 119 of the Highways Act 1980.
The effect of the Order as confirmed is to divert a section of the public footpath in the Parish of New Earswick commencing at OS grid reference SE 60414 56112 and running in a north easterly direction, across field, for 225m and terminating at a point within the highway verge of the A1237 York outer ring road at OS grid reference SE 60518 56312, to a new line running again from OS grid reference SE 60414 56112 and running in a northerly direction, along the field edge, for 149m and terminating at its junction with the A1237 highway verge, at OS grid reference SE 60413 56261, as indicated on the Order map. A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge at West Offices, Station Rise, York YO1 6GAfrom 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Monday to Friday of any working week. Copies of the Order and Order map may be bought there at the price of £1.50 The Order comes into force at the end of 7 days from the date of confirmation, but if any person aggrieved by the Order wants to question its validity, or that of any provision contained within it, on the ground that it is not within the powers of the Highways Act 1980, as amended, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act, as amended, or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may, under paragraph 2 to the Act as applied by paragraphs of Schedule 6 to the Act, within 6 weeks from the 17 July 2015, make application to the High Court.
