Notice of making of a Public Path Diversion

Notice of making of a Public Path Diversion and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order Highways Act 1980 Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 North Yorkshire County Council Footpath No.10.6/2 & 10.6/3 Forest View Farm, Alne Diversion Order 2015

The above Order, made on 23 July 2015, under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980 and Section 53A(2) of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, will divert the public footpaths described below and modify The District of Hambleton (Outside the North York Moors National Park) Definitive Map and Statement accordingly. Footpath No. 10.6/2 will be diverted at GR SE 5230 6606 onto a new route via GR SE 5229 6582 to GR SE 5240 6582.
Footpath No. 10.6/3 will be diverted onto a new route at GR SE 5240 6582 via GR SE
5251 6582, GR SE 5251 6605, and GR SE 5260 6604 to GR SE 5260 6616.
An additional Footpath No10.6/4will becreated,commencingatGRSE 5251 6582and running east to GR SE 4273 6583 then north to GR SE 5274 6600. A copy of the Order and the Order map have been placed and may be seen free of charge during normal office hours at Easingwold Library, North Yorkshire, YO61 3AN until 5 September 2015. Copies of the Order and map may be purchased from Waste & Countryside Services, North Yorkshire County Council, County Hall, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, DL7 8AD (tel: 01609 532512) at a cost of £2.00, or can be downloaded free from our website www.northyorks.gov.uk/pathnotices.
Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing to Ron Allan, Definitive Map Officer, North Yorkshire County Council, County Hall, Northallerton, North Yorkshire DL7 8AD not later than 5 September 2015. Please state the grounds on which they are made.
Please note that objections/representations cannot be treated as confidential and may come into the public domain. Copies of any objections or representations received may be disclosed to interested parties, including the Planning Inspectorate where the case is referred to it for determination.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, North Yorkshire County Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
