NOTICE OF MAKING THE YORK TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT (AMENDMENT) (NO 14/3) ORDER 2015

Notice is hereby given that on the 3rd day of September 2015 City of York Council, in exercise of powers under Sections 1, 2, 4 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 ("the Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Schedule 9 of the Act, made an Order which has the effect of: Introducing in Selby Road (A19), York:
(a) on its south west side, between the A19 northwest-bound exit from the south eastern roundabout at Fulford Interchange (junction of A19 York-Selby road with the A64(T) Scarborough Leeds road) and A19 northwest-bound exit from the north western roundabout at Fulford Interchange a 24 hour with-flow Local Bus Lanes for the passage of Local Buses, Hackney Carriages, Private Hire Vehicles, Solo Motor Cycles and Pedal Cycles.

(b) on its north west side, of the south eastern roundabout at Fulford Interchange between the northwest-bound traffic lane and the southeast bound traffic lane of A19 Selby Road a 24 hour with-flow Local Bus Lanes for the passage of Local Buses.

The Order comes into effect on 9th day of September 2015.
A copy of the Order incorporating relevant maps can be inspected at the Reception, West Offices, Station Rise, York, during normal business hours. Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended or that a requirement of any regulation thereunder has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the date of making of the Order, make application for that purpose to the High Court.
CITY OF YORK COUNCIL TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS NoticeisherebygiventhatCityofYorkCouncil(theCouncil),inexerciseofpowersunder Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (the Act), made an Order on the 3rd day of September 2015 in respect of the following location.
STRENSALL FOOTPATH NO. 3/4/10 This Order prohibits pedestrians and vehicles from proceeding in that length of closed footpath, known as Strensall Footpath No 3/4/10 between its junction with Sheriff Hutton Road, Strensall and a point 250 metres north west of the said junction (closed footpath), during the period when the construction of the surface water discharge headwall works are being undertaken thereon. The prohibition commences at 0001hrs on the 7th day of September2015andendsat2400hrsonthe31stdayofOctober2015oronadatewhen the said works being undertaken thereon have been completed whichever is the earlier. This is to ensure that the said works can be carried out safely. An alternative route for diverted pedestrians and vehicles will be available via sheriff Hutton Road, New Lane and vice versa.
The above temporary Order will not prohibit works or emergency access nor will they prohibit access to premises provided that access is not prevented by on-going works or safety concerns. Traffic signs/barriers will indicate the extent of the prohibitions/ restrictions.
