Notice of Application for the Variation of a Premises Licence

Take notice that on 24/9/15 we the City Centre office of City of York Council made application to the City of York Council for the variation of a Premises Licence at the following premises Pedestrian Area (Footstreet Area) of York City Centre including Exhibition Square - variation to apply solely to St Sampson's Square and Parliament Street areas.
The Licensing Application Register can be viewed by prior arrangement with City of York Council Licensing Section (Tel: 01904 552512) at Hazel Court, EcoDepot, James Street, York, Y010 3DS between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
Representations to this application can be made in writing by any interested party or responsible authority to City of York Council Licensing Services, Hazel Court EcoDepot, James Street, York, Y010 3DS. Representations must be received by no later than 22/10//15, being within a 28 day period beginning the first day after the application is made.
Summary of Proposed Variation
To extend hours for sale of alcohol to 23:00hours Sunday to Thursday for the duration of the Christmas Market each year in St Sampson's Square and Parliament Street areas only for the erection of a Christmas Bar.
The bar to close at 20:00hrs on New Year's Eve.
Variation also includes amendments to 4 premises licence conditions.
It is an offence knowingly or recklessly to make a false statement in connection with an application for the grant of a premises licence or club premises certificate. A person guilty of such an offence is liable to a fine not exceeding level 5 on the standard scale.
