TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS
Notice is hereby given that City of York Council (the Council) not less than 7 days from the publication of this Notice, in exercise of powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (the Act), intends to make an Order in respect of the location below.
GERMANY LANE, FULFORD
This Order will prohibit pedestrians and vehicles from proceeding in that length of closed footpath, known as Germany Lane between its junctions with Fulford Footpath No. 5/5/10 and Cross Lane, Fulford (closed footpath) during the period when nearby development works being undertaken adjacent to the closed footpath thereon that period commencing at 0001hrs on 20^th day of June 2016 and ending at 2400hrs on the 30^th day of September 2016 or at a time and date when the works have been completed whichever is the earlier. This is to ensure that the said works can be carried out safely. An alternative route for diverted pedestrians and vehicles will be signed during the works period. The above temporary Order will not prohibit works or emergency access nor will they prohibit access to premises provided that access is not prevented by on-going works or safety concerns. Traffic signs/barriers will indicate the extent of the prohibitions/ restrictions.
