NOTICE OF MAKING THE YORK PARKING, STOPPING AND WAITING (AMENDMENT) (NO 14/15) TRAFFIC ORDER 2016 Notice is hereby given that on the 23rd day of June 2016 City of York Council, in exercise of powers under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 45, 46, 53 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 ("the Act") and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Schedule 9 of the Act, made an Order which has the effect of:
1. Introducing'No Waiting at any time' restrictions in York as follows:

(a) Aintree Court, on both sides, between the projected northern kerbline of Mayfield Grove and a point 25 metres north of the said line,

(b) Broadway, on its south side, between a point 4 metres west of the projected eastern property boundary line of No. 28 Broadway and a point 16 metres east of the said line,

(c) Butcher Terrace, on:

(i) both sides, between a point 5 metres north west of the projected western kerbline of Finsbury Street and a point 5 metres south east of the projected eastern kerbline of Finsbury Street,
(ii)its south west side, between the projected western kerbline of Terry Street and a point 4 metres north west of the said line,
(d) Finsbury Street, on both sides, between a point 5 metres south of the southern kerbline Butcher Terrace and a point 5 metres north of the northern kerbline of Butcher Terrace,

(e) Granville Terrace, on its,

(i) east side, between the projected centreline of the link road between Granville Terrace and Lansdowne Terrace north for 9 metres and south 9 metres,
(ii)west side, between the projected southern kerbline of Hilda Street south for 5 metres,
(f) Hartoft Street, on its south side, from the projected north eastern propertyboundary line of No 5 Lastingham Terrace north west for 2 metres and east for 10 metres,

(g) Hilda Street, on its south side, between the projected western kerbline of Granville Street west for 5 metres,

(h) Lastingham Terrace back lane linking Farndale Street with Hartoft Street, on its,

(i) north west side, from the projected southern kerbline of Hartoft Street south for 2 metres,
(ii)south east side, from the projected southern kerbline of Hartoft Street south for 7 metres,
(i) Link Road between Granville Terrace and Lansdowne Terrace, on both sides, between theprojected eastern kerblineofGranvilleTerraceeastfor5 metres,

(j) Mayfield Grove, on its north side, from the projected centreline of Aintree Court west
for 13 metres and east for 13 metres, (k) Nunthorpe Crescent, on its south eastern side, from the projected centreline of
Nunthorpe View north east for 7 metres and south west for 7 metres, (l) Nunthorpe View, on both sides, between the south eastern kerbline of Nunthorpe
Crescent and a point 10 metres south east of the said line, (m) Terry Street, on both sides, between the projected southern kerbline of Butcher
Terrace and a point 5 metres south of the said line, (n) West Bank, on both sides, between a point 29 metres south from the projected
southern kerbline of Acomb Road and 49 metres south of the said line (terminal
point of existing 'No Waiting at anytime' restrictions), (o) Wood Street, on its south east side, between points 6 metres (terminal point of
existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions) and 12 metres north east of the
projected north eastern kerbline of Cinder Lane;
2. Introducing'NoWaitingatanytime' restrictionsin Angram Close,CliftonWithout,onits:

(a) west side, from a point 4 metres south of the northern property boundary of 21 Angram Close, north for the remainder of its length and to extend east across turning head area,

(b) east side, from the projected western property boundary line of No. 12 Angram Close south for 18 metres;

3. Introducing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions in South Lane, Haxby, on both sides, between a point 20 metres west of the western highway boundary line of Kennedy Drive (terminal point of existing 'No Waiting at any time' restrictions) and a point 11 metres west of the said line;

4. Formalising existing Disabled Person's (Blue Badge) Parking Place on the north west side of Falsgrave Crescent, York, between a point 1 metres south west of the projected southernpropertyboundarylineofNo.19FalsgraveCrescentandapoint5metresnorth east of the said line;

5. Transferring the residential properties at 20 Southlands Road and 1 Nunthorpe Grove, York from Residents Priority Parking Zone R45 Southlands Road to become part of Residents Priority Parking Zone R57 Nunthorpe Grove thereby necessitating the modification of the respective Zonal boundary areas to reflect and formalise that transfer;

6. Introducing a 24 hour loading bay on the south side of Paragon Street, York between points 118 metres and 151 metres eastfrom the projected centre line ofFawcettStreet thereby revoking the existing 'No Waiting at any time' restriction from within that length;

7. Re-defining 'Residents' Priority' parking area thereby bringing within the R8 zone the existing 24 hour R7 parking provision on the south east side of George Court between points 2.5 metres and 13.5 metres north east of the projected highway boundary line of Penley's Grove Street;

8. Re-defining 'Residents' Priority' parking area thereby bringing within the R8 zone the existing 24 hour 'Pay and Display' and R7 parking provision on the north east side of Penley's Grove Street between points 274 metres and 289 metres south east of the projected centreline of Del Pyke.

The Order comes into effect on 25th day of June 2016.
A copy of the Order incorporating relevant maps can be inspected at the Reception, West Offices, Station Rise, York, during normal business hours. Any person who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended or that a requirement of any regulation thereunder has not been complied with may, within 6 weeks from the date of making of the Order, make application for that purpose to the High Court.
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS Notice is hereby given that City of York Council (the Council), in exercise of powers under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (the Act), made an Order on the 23rd day of June 2016 in respect of each of the locations numbered (1), (2) and (3). Additionally, the Council, not less than 7 days from the publication of this Notice, intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Act in respect of each of the locations numbered (4) and
(5).
(1) BRINKWORTH TERRACE, YORK
This Order prohibits pedestrians and vehicles from proceeding in the footway on the south side of Brinkworth Terrace, York between its junctions with James Street and Leake Street (closed footpath) during the period when nearby development works being undertaken adjacent tothe closed footpath thatperiod commencing at0001hrs on the 27th dayofJune 2016 and ending at 2400hrs on the 18th day of June 2017 or at a time and date when the works have been completed whichever is the earlier. This is to ensure that the said works can be carried out safely. An alternative route for diverted pedestrians and vehicles will be available on the footway on the north side of Brinkworth Terrace.
(2) ALBEMARLE ROAD, YORK This Order prohibits pedestrians and vehicles from proceeding in the footway on the east side of Albemarle Road, York between points 26 metres and 50 metres south of its junction with Telford Terrace (closed footpath) during the period when telecommunication works beingundertaken thereon thatperiod commencing at1800hrsonthe27th dayofJune2016 and ending at 1530hrs on the 28th day of June 2016 or at a time and date when the works have been completed whichever is the earlier. This is to ensure that the said works can be carried out safely. An alternative route for diverted pedestrians and vehicles will be available on the footway on the west side of Albemarle Road.
(3) TANNER ROW, YORK This Order prohibits pedestrians and vehicles from proceeding in the footway on the north side of Tanner Row, York between the eastern property boundary of the public toilet and the eastern propertyboundary of The Grand Hotel (closed footpath) during the period when nearby development works being undertaken adjacent to the closed footpath that period commencing at 0001hrs on the 27th day of June 2016 and ending at 2400hrs on the 8th day of July 2016 or at a time and date when the works have been completed whichever is the earlier. This is to ensure that the said works can be carried out safely. An alternative route for diverted pedestrians and vehicles will be available on the footway on the south side of Tanner Row.
(4) BAKER STREET, YORK
This Order will prohibit vehicles from proceeding and waiting in Baker Street, York (closed road) during the period commencing at 0001hrs on the 6th day of July 2016 and ending at 2400hrs on the 30th day of July 2016 (works period) or at time when water works being undertaken thereon have been completed whichever is the earlier. This is to ensure that the said works can be carried out safely. No alternative route for diverted traffic will be available during the works period.
(5) FRONT STREET, ACOMB
This Order will prohibit vehicles from proceeding and waiting in Front Street, Acomb between the projected eastern property boundary line of No. 4 Acomb Court, Front Street and itsjunction with Green Lane (closed road) during theperiod commencing at0800hrson the10thdayofJuly2016andendingat2400hrsonthe11thdayofJuly2016(worksperiod) or at time when water works being undertaken thereon have been completed whichever is the earlier. This is to ensure that the said works can be carried out safely. Additionally, the 'ONE WAY' direction of traffic flow in Front Street, Acomb is suspended during the period of physical closure to allow two-way traffic flow in the said road when the closure is put into effect. An alternative route for diverted traffic will be signed during the works period. The above temporary Orders will not prohibit works or emergency access nor will they prohibit access to premises provided that access is not prevented by on-going works or safety concerns.
