NOTICE OF PUBLIC LOCAL INQUIRY WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981 SECTION 53
Notice is hereby given that MR A BECKETT the Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to determine North Yorkshire County Council Footpath No. 35.64/28 of Tadcaster Viaduct to Wighill Lane, Tadcaster Modification Order 2013 Will attend at Riley Smith Hall, Tadcaster, LS24 9JB on Tuesday 04 October 2016 at 10.00am To re-open the public inquiry held on 03 February 2015 (and 09 February 2016) to hear new evidence into the unmodified part of the Order and, concurrently, hold a public local inquiry into the Inspector's proposed modification to the Order as contained in his/her letter dated 04 June 2015.
The effect of the Order, if confirmed without modifications will be to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by adding to them a public footpath with a width of 2 metres running from the eastern end of the Tadcaster viaduct at grid reference SE 4851 4387 running generally north east to Wighill Lane at grid reference SE 4865 4399 The effect of the proposed modifications are as follows:
? In the Schedule, Part I under 'Description', in line 1 delete 44851 44387 and insert '445807 443876'; delete lines 2-4 beginning 'along' and ending '5 metres'; under 'Section of footpath as shown on the map' delete 'B'.

'Description' in lines 2 and 3 delete '44851 44387' and insert '445807 443876'; delete lines 4 to 10 beginning 'along' and ending '5 metres'; under 'Length' delete '0.199Km' and insert '0.175Km'.
? In the order plan delete part of the route between points A and C and insert a straight line path by means of a broken red line; in the Order plan key, delete B and insert a broken red line.
