A BUSINESS growth specialist is helping businesses take a fresh new view on their ventures.
Based out of Hiscox’s offices in Peaholm Green, as part of the insurers Small Business Club, A Fresh View is run by marketer Lesley Barlow.
A Fresh View’s work is all about observing, listening, researching and thinking in a way that is greatly different from those within their business.
Mrs Barlow, who is entering the Business Innovation of the Year category, said: “We do not hope to change the world or make change for the sake of it, but through the use of detailed and careful analysis combined with creativity, to make impactful innovations that will create legacy; ones that business owners and their teams can be proud of.”
A Fresh View’s client base is very diverse, from accountants, destinations, holiday parks, hospitality businesses and Local Authorities, through to the NHS.
Through its flagship collaboration with the NHS, A Fresh View works with one of the UK’s leading hospitals to improve patient experience, enhance workflows and efficiency, delivery staff training and champion the organisation to prospective employees through both language and behavioural change observation techniques.
Elsewhere Make It York invited A Fresh View to partner with them to help create a new innovative strategy for Selby District Council. A Fresh View not only brought creative thinking to the table but a tour de force of analysis, planning and project management. Delivering a five-year exciting, creative, strong and meaningful strategy for increased visitor growth within the District of Selby.
York’s very own membership business, Visit York, also took A Fresh View when the York Visitors Pass and TIC sales were lacking. A Fresh View was asked to consider why and to suggest how to make innovative changes to increase sales across both elements. Through A Fresh View’s innovative, ‘How to Sell More’ creative approach; the effective packaging-up of the card, the best marketing language to use, how to ‘close a sale’ and the staff training facilitated, they provided outstanding results for Visit York.
