GUESTS have been visiting Humble Bee Farm for more than 11 years since it started out with just a small operation.
The site now features Wigwam Cabins, yurts, a campsite and cottages, and is a contender for the Retail, Tourism and Leisure Business of the Year title.
“Our tourism journey started with two cabins and a small campsite and now includes 20 cabins, including four with luxury hot tub cabins, four nomadic yurts, three luxury holiday cottages, a small campsite and a selection bell tents that are run by our daughter, Olivia," they say.
“Our reputation is dependent on the quality of our accommodation and our high level of customer service.
“Our guests receive a ‘Countdown to Your Holiday’ email prior to their arrival which successful at upselling products and additional ordering of goods and services here at Humble Bee.
“Our staff are trained to the highest standards in terms of cleaning, customer service and welcoming the guest to the site, and we have an ‘open door’ policy for customer feedback. All our guests can fill in a feedback form if they wish.
“We continue to offer a peaceful ‘unplugged’ atmosphere with access to Wi-Fi available for those that require it.
“We also developed former farm buildings into our luxury holiday cottages and as a result of customer feedback; we also installed hot tubs so our guest experience was elevated to a much higher level in these accommodation options.
“For those who love holidays under canvas, our Nomadic Yurts are ideal with a star gazer window and offer a comfortable camping experience with electric and stove wood burner, and not forgetting the important twinkling fairy lights!
“For the 2019 summer season, we introduced our VIP packages and improved our full glamping packages that guests can order for their glamping cabin or yurt.
“We endeavour to keep improving the Humble Bee Farm experience to all our guests, helping keep us at the forefront of the local tourism industry.”
