AN EXPERT in healing and spirituality, Lindsay Banks is committed to improving the wellbeing of people in York.

Lindsay set up her business, NRG Healing, after coming thorough a hugely challenging time in her life which included losing her best friend to cancer, the break-up of her marriage and almost becoming homeless.

Since setting up her business the single mum-of-two has travelled to the United States to take part in the Women with Gifts award ceremony, written a book and worked tirelessly to make NRG Healing a success.

She often supports other businesses by sharing her expertise, collaborating and regularly reaching out to the wider community through social media. She has set up several groups to provide information, offer discussions and share her thoughts and ideas. She hosted York’s first pop-up meditation for World Meditation Day and invited several meditation teachers to help her host the event.

A contender for the Business Personality of the Year, she rises to any challenge which quite often involves facing her fears, such as speaking at the I Can! Richard McCann conference where she also did a fire walk, and doing a skydive to raise funds for Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

Lindsay is writing her second book and is said to be extremely motivating to her followers.
