OFFICE fit out business Chameleon Business Interiors has merged with warehousing specialist iGSG Group.
The new company, called ISIS Commercial Environments, will have a combined turnover of more than £5 million and a 17-strong workforce.
Shaun Watts, managing director of Chameleon Business Interiors, which has an office in York, said the two companies have worked together closely for a number of years.
He said the merger would simplify the procurement process for customers investing in both offices and industrial premises, allowing them to target the whole market with a single offering.
He said: “We have got to know each other’s business very well and recognise there is a lot of synergy in terms of business and opportunities.
“It made perfect sense to have one offering so whatever the type of commercial property, there is an element of the business that can service it.
“Our clients will now be dealing with a company that has a great reputation across the country in both sectors – offices and warehouses.
“It also opens up our opportunities and creates a genuine turn-key package for all our clients.”
Iain Gillard, managing director of iGSG, said: “Merging brings clear advantages to both businesses and ultimately creates a company with a significantly enhanced service and product portfolio.”
The company will begin trading as ISIS Commercial Environments from March 1 and the main functions of the business will remain in Hull, with offices in Leeds and York.
