LOCAL food producers are holding a pop-up mini food festival tomorrow.
The businesses, including Yorkshire Farm Shop, Yorkshire Ales, Shepherds Purse Cheese, Hole House Farm, Yorkshire Rapeseed Oil and Haxby Baker, will hold tastings and demonstrations at the Intoto kitchen showroom on Clifton Moor.
Kitchen equipment businesses Netherton Foundry and Flint and Flame will also exhibit at the event at Unit 42, Auster Lane, York.
Demonstration chef Phil Leverington, who also cooks at York Food Festival, said the event at Intoto in York was the first of a series of pop-up festivals.
Another will take place in Beverley’s Intoto showroom on March 23 and in Leeds, Halifax and Batley Intotos.
Mr Leverington said: “Micro pop-up food festivals have never been done before so York is the first. It’s great to see local businesses working together.”
