CITY of York Council and Investors In The Environment will hold two free events to help businesses cut costs.
The events will run consecutively on Tuesday, March 5, at the Mansion House, York.
The morning session will focus on resource efficiency and the Green Deal with the afternoon session looking at cutting fleet costs and emissions.
Emma Davies, of Investors In The Environment, said: “Every business is facing increased pressure to control costs and with energy and fuel prices set to rise even further, the benefits of focusing on energy consumption in the work place and on the road have never been greater.
"These events will provide the solutions businesses are looking for, to help them remain competitive and grow.”
Email iie@energypartnership.org.uk to register for the free events, Opportunity Green: cut costs & win business, from 9.30am to 12.15pm and Future Transport York: cutting emissions & fleet costs, from 1pm to 4pm.
