A NEW appointment has been made at an expanding firm of York solicitors.
Amir Mughal has joined Langleys Solicitors’ specialist property litigation team, which was established a year ago and has since attracted work from clients such as Del Monte, First Group, Bauer Media Group, Yorkshire Linen and Marsh & Parsons.
Amir trained at Leeds firm Walker Morris before developing his skills at leading city firm Lovells, and has joined Langleys from Yorkshire firm Lupton Fawcett Lee & Priestley.
He has acted for high street brands such as Thorntons and River Island, as well as Sheffield-based developer Henry Boot, one of the companies which has recently signed a joint deal to buy the Terry’s chocolate factory site in York.
“We’ve grown our client base, and consequently our team, very quickly over the last 12 months and are building a solid reputation in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire,” said Langleys partner Matthew Pugh.
“I worked with Amir at a previous firm and the skills and experience he brings to the team enhances our offering and will enable us to grow further over the next 12 months.”
