A RESPECTED chartered surveyor from York has been appointed to the board of the city’s Science Park.

Richard Flanagan, director of Flanagan James Ltd, said he was “very excited at the prospect of playing a key role in helping to shape the vision and strategy of such a dynamic and forward-thinking organisation as York Science Park”.

Mr Flanagan is also president of the York & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, director of the Leeds, York & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce, and is a Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Assessment of Professional Competence Assessor.

He is a representative of the York Economic Partnership, the York Conservation Areas Advisory Panel and the York Property Forum.
