A YORK-based accountant who has worked with scores of school academies has been promoted.
Jonathan Doyle joined accountants and business advisers Clive Owen & Co in July 2007 after graduating from Newcastle University. He began as a trainee and passed his ACA exams in November 2010 before qualifying as a chartered accountant in September 2011.
His work is primarily audit, accountancy and management accounts, but recently he has been working in the firm’s expanding education department, mainly preparing accounts for academies across the region.
Jonathan said: “I’m really pleased to have been given this promotion. I’m keen to develop my career within the profession and each achievement I make is another step forward. I enjoy working with the clients and I’m looking forward to continuing to develop my skills.”
Terry Doyle, partner with Clive Owen & Co, said: “It’s important we recognise staff and their efforts. We’re really pleased to be able to reward Jonathan for his commitment and hard work.”
