TWO former trainee accountants have worked their way up to senior management roles as JWPCreers appoints its latest associates.
The North Yorkshire firm, which has offices in York and Selby, now has six associates and seven full partners across its two sites.
Michael Free has been promoted to associate, having joined joining Creer’s York office as a teenager after leaving Archbishop Holgate School.
He worked his way up to senior manager, specialising in advising audit exempt limited companies.
Also promoted to associate is senior manager Andrew Northern, who joined the firm in 2001 as a trainee accountant and now specialises in landed estates and agriculture.
JWPCreers managing partner, Nigel Clemit, said: “We strongly believe in developing and promoting our own talent within the firm. There can be no clearer example of this than Michael Free’s well-deserved promotion to associate after joining the firm as its youngest member of staff.”
