YORK housebuilder Shepherd Homes has teamed up with a Leeds developer to build 54 new homes in Guiseley.
Shepherd will work alongside Evans Property Group to redevelop a former industrial site in the town after planning permission was granted.
The first phase of works will start this month and involve the demolition of around 100,000 sq ft of derelict, 1940s industrial buildings.
Shepherd Homes will release the first phase of homes in spring 2014.
