A LEEDS law firm is expecting turnover to hit £16 million this year after merging with a York practice, as it reports increased profits over 2013.
Lupton Fawcett, which now trades as Lupton Fawcett Denison Till after merging with York-based Denison Till in December, saw revenue rise to £13.4 million in the year to March 31, 2013, from £12.1 million the previous year.
The firm paid out more than £3.5 million remuneration to its members, the average number of which rose from 30 to 36.
The highest paid member received £175,832, up from £147,223 last year.
Bosses say that following the merger with Denison Till, which had its head office in Piccadilly, York, they now expect turnover to reach £16 million this year, rising to £18 million the following year
