YORKSHIRE’S hoteliers will be able to find out about opportunities for funding as York hosts the region’s inaugural industry exhibition.
The first Yorkshire Hotel Show is due to be held at York Racecourse on February 18 and 19.
The event, which includes a keynote speech on the Tour de France by chief executive of Welcome to Yorkshire Gary Verity, will also feature a number of funding opportunities for businesses.
Representatives from the Department for Works and Pensions will have details of funding available for employers to provide work experience and apprenticeships, while Santander Bank’s presentation will include Savvy Funding for Hotels and Restaurants - An Inside Track, by Alastair Morris relationship director of Santander Corporate and Commercial Banking.
Show organisers have also signed up a key exhibitor in the form of The Yorkshire Chauffeur Company, based near Bedale, which will have a range of vehicles on show including Range Rover Sports wedding cars.
Keith Myers, show director, said: “Support for the show is excellent and we are delighted that Yorkshire businesses will be able to learn about funding options and services such as the Yorkshire Chauffeur Company that support hotels and other tourism businesses in the county.”
